Foxwood Resorts, CT

The symbol of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation remembers the past. The tree represents the "much wooded land" where the people hunted and prospered; it is portrayed on a rocky knoll, framed against a clear sky. Inscribed across the land is the symbol of Robin Cassasinamon, the Tribe's first leader after the massacre at Mystic Fort in 1637; he continued as sachem (chief) until his death in 1693. The fox represents the People, who adopted the name "Pequot" (the Fox People) to remind them of the turbulent times.

So much for reflecting on the past. The present is full of bright lights and excitement. This is a special place, with towers rising majestically from the beautiful Connecticut woodlands. This Resort is completely self-contained; you can find anything you need or want right here.

Foxwoods Resort Casino features 6,700 slots and 300 table games, as well as 18 restaurants with over 1,900 rooms within its 320,000 square feet (97,536 square meters). Can't decide which game to play? No problem! There are many opportunities here for relaxation and fun. Just let yourself go and enjoy!
